chin jaw 的區別

查字典的時候

兩個出現的都是下巴

那到底有什麼區別呢?

先來看一下網路上的解釋

Chin is the point of the jaw, and is technically part of the jaw.
Jaw is usually meant as the side parts though and chin is the
point where they meet.

問過老師後

chin 通常是指最下方的那一小個特定區塊

而 jaw 呢 大多是指兩側及整個區塊

OK 那最後在學一個單字

lockjaw n. 破傷風, 牙關緊閉症

if u stepped on rust nail u will have chance to get lockjaw

來個片語 Keep your chin up

A : I just received a rejection letter from Harvard.
（我剛收到一封哈佛拒絕我入學的信函。）

B : Keep your chin up！ You haven't heard from any other schools
yet. （ 振作點嘛！你又還不知道其他間學校的結果。 ）

所以呢 Keep your chin up 就是振作起來 Think positive！
